It is a clean picture of the art from the September 2009 issue of Play magazine, an anime and game entertainment magazine.
This art was made by George Kamitani , director of the video game Muramasa: The Demon Blade, of Vanillaware. This is based on a hidden boss battle within the game and also inspired by two Japanese artworks, The Great Wave and Dream of the Fisherman's Wife.
I saw that no one else had uploaded this yet so I decided to do so myself. Of course anyone can make a wallpaper out of this is they choose, I'm using a cropped image of this myself as my wallpaper.
If you have a Wii hurry up and purchase Muramasa: The Demon Blade. If you have a PS2 purchase Odin Sphere.
